Robert S. Cauthen, Jr.
Chairman & CEO

Robert has over 38 years of experience in the insurance industry, most notably as the CEO of American General Life Insurance Company, Vice Chairman and CEO of American General Life Insurance Company of New York, and Chairman of American General Securities Incorporated.

Robert started his career as an insurance agent and advanced to become the CEO of one of the largest insurance companies in the world.  This career path gave him broad exposure to all facets of insurance sales, marketing, distribution, product development, new business and administration.  His leadership and successful management of multiple functional disciplines enables him to offer valuable advice on dealing with a wide array of insurance issues.  For a complete biography and list of licenses and awards, please click here.

 
 
 
Arnold A. Dicke, FSA, MAAA, FCA
President

Arnold is an actuary with over 30 years of life insurance industry experience, both in senior management and as a consultant.  His senior management roles include senior vice president and head of traditional life insurance at ING Re and chief actuary or chief line of business actuary at ING Re, New York Life, USLIFE Corporation, the Equitable, Provident Mutual, and Penn Mutual.  Arnold was a consultant with Tillinghast and with KPMG, specializing in reinsurance, risk analysis, internal audit and controls, reserve and capital reviews, risk classification and product development.

Arnold is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA).  He has served as Vice President for life insurance  for both the American Academy of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries and is currently on the Academy’s Professionalism Council.  Arnold graduated from Harvard College and received his master’s in mathematical physics from Princeton University. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.  Arnold is a well-known author and has an extensive list of industry publications.
